Lisa's POV
"Thank you, Maya," I said the moment my best friend told me they would be sleeping here in the Hernandez hacienda. And we were on the terrace talking while my fiance and Maya's husband were drinking some alcoholic drinks, and I felt so happy to be back here.
And I couldn't stop myself from remembering the day he rejected me when I confessed to Benedict that I was falling in love with him, and as I remembered that day, I couldn't stop smiling, knowing I was once a brave woman.
And it hurts me to think that only my illness made me feel so weak and afraid, and I felt so guilty that I left them, and I am glad they all welcomed me back as if nothing happened, and I love the way they accept me, especially Ben. And I love to be back.
