Adonis's POV
I decide not to go to the bar, and as I get home, I answered Ferlyn's call, and I heard she was sobbing on the other line. I don't like that it will always be like this for the remaining months.
"Hey, Ferlyn, I am sorry for I didn't answer your call since I was driving. Did you take your medications?" I asked softly.
"Yes, but I need you here with me, Adonis. Please come to my house." She begged, and my compassion prevailed.
