Back at the palace, the emperor made an important announcement to all its occupants in the audience room.
" Listen up all of you! In three days, all the concubines will be serving as waitresses for a cooking context". The emperor said authoritatively.
The concubines whispered upon themselves upon hearing the announcement made by the emperor. The imperial princess and the empress dowager were also present in the audience.
" The cooking contest he's referring to, is it the same one he's helping out at the moment?" Inquired the empress dowager in an interrogative tone.
" Yes, that's the one!" She nodded responsively.
" He wants all the concubines to serve as waitresses!" The empress dowager wanted to know why the concubines had to be the waitresses.
