Staring into his eyes, I was about to utter an answer back to him when he said, " You weren't about to accept my proposal just now, were you?"
" I was speechless yet again. Did he see through me?" I subconsciously thought as I kept staring at the emperor without taking my eyes off of him. " What do you mean, your majesty?" I asked although I had a little hunch as to what he was talking about.
Instead of responding to my question, he put one foot on the ground, and without warning, he picked up my injured foot and put it over his leg. I was all the more speechless as now, all eyes were on us; we had gathered everyone's attention. Faced with the unwanted attention, I muttered flustered, " Your majesty, what are you doing?" " Leave my foot please!"
