Kaiden rubbed the girl's back with light and soft strokes as he let her sob against his shoulder. A small smile was still playing on his lips as he thought about the adventures that he had experienced with her ever since she got drunk nearly two hours ago.
He looked up at the night sky and noticed the full moon that was glowing brightly, inviting him and his wolf to experience the beauty of a night run.
"Angel, it's about to hit midnight in less than half an hour. I think we should head home now." He whispered near her ear, making the girl finally pull away her face as she looked up at him with her puffy eyes and wet cheeks.
He softly brushed away the traces of tears from her cheeks before cupping her face as he rested his palm against her cheek. "Why are you giving me that look? Don't you want to go home?" He asked while arching his eyebrows slightly in a questioning look.
