Yuan Huan hung up the phone after a couple of minutes.
He leaned against the wall gently as he contemplated. He glanced at the first aid box on the table nearby before walking over.
There was still one vial of medicine in the first aid box. Yuan Huan paused before picking up the syringe.
When the man nearby noticed what he wanted to do, he said in a mild voice, "I suggest you don't go out."
Yuan Huan did not even raise his head. His hand was still trembling from the previous injection, but he suppressed the pain and quickly injected the medicine into his arm's artery. "We have made progress with the medicine, so I have to check it out."
"Whatever." The man did not budge. After adjusting his mask casually, he walked out of the room. "Take care of yourself."
"Uh huh." Yuan Huan closed his eyes.
He could sense burning pain coming from the gunshot wound on his chest owing to the injection before it slowly subsided.
