Huo Yao tilted her head sideways and looked at Huo Yulin. "Are you going to visit our uncle?"
"Uh huh." Huo Yulin acknowledged Huo Yao with his eyes narrowed.
Even though their uncle had told Huo Yulin to bring his little sister back with him, he was not sure how he could get his parents to say yes to it. He could already imagine his parents kicking him out of the door the moment he mentioned it.
Huo Yao had trouble reaching her grandmother over the phone, and she inexplicably felt worried. Since it was getting late, she could only try again tomorrow during the day.

The first time she tried, no one answered the phone.
The second time she tried, someone finally picked up the phone.
Huo Yao parted her lips wanting to speak. Before she was able to say a word, someone spoke over the phone.
