Huo Yao narrowed her eyes looking at Liu Qian's reply. She recalled him acting weird recently and decided to call him directly.
Before long, the call got through.
"Did something happen?" asked Huo Yao calmly as she got straight to the point.
Liu Qian tightened his grip on his phone. Even though he did not know how to tell her the truth, there was no hiding it now. "DO Corporation has made arrangements to meet tomorrow."
Huo Yao swiftly connected the dots and figured out what the previous text message meant. "Are you meeting them at the institute?"
Liu Qian acknowledged softly.
Huo Yao narrowed her eyes as the hair on the side of her face fluttered slightly from the wind. She asked him nonchalantly. "Why?"
Liu Qian could sense the atmosphere turning colder as she questioned him.
