"Uncle Changfeng."
It was none other than Huo Changfeng on the phone.
When Shangguan Tong heard the name, her head was facing the car window, but she automatically stopped looking out of the window. Even her breathing went soft.
Huo Yao acted as though she did not notice Aunt Tong's reaction and continued on the phone. "… Yes, my phone was flat."
Huo Changfeng finally felt relieved after hearing this. "I'm glad you're fine. Oh yes. Yaoyao, when are you coming back?"
Huo Yao checked the time. "In about two hours."
Huo Yao tapped her knee gently. She paused for a couple of seconds and asked voluntarily before Huo Changfeng could speak. "Uncle Changfeng, why are you calling me so late? Did something happen at the hospital?"
Huo Changfeng had called to get an update about the test for potential heirs. When Huo Yao misunderstood, he explained. "Nothing happened at the hospital…"
