"Mr Min, welcome back," greeted the pet shop owner before he turned to look at Huo Yao.
Since Huo Yao was dressed in a school uniform, the shop owner did not attempt to make small talk about her being his girlfriend.
Min Yu acknowledged him calmly. He brought Huo Yao to a cage nearby. "Which one of these two dogs do you like?"
Huo Yao leaned over to look at the two puppies lying in the box. They looked chubby and were unafraid when she approached them.
"Huskies tend to be a little more lively, but they have a mild temperament," said the shop owner.
Huo Yao reached her index finger out and stuck it through a gap in the cage to touch their heads. After taking a closer look, she noticed that one of the puppies had contrastingly colored eyes.
