At first, Ateez refused and there was a conflict, but after he tried to contact Mr. Devan to ask for further action, the man's contact was never active.
Finally, Ateez made his own decision and left the Javier family residence.
After getting out of the elevator, Devan immediately headed to the VVIP room where his son was being treated.
When he was at the door of the room, his cell phone rang again, saw the name on the screen, Devan took a deep breath, then rejected the call.

"Honey..." Devan said first when he entered the room. He immediately put his luggage down then approached Claire, gave her a short hug, and then turned to his son.
"Finally, my hero has come to his senses," said Devan while gently stroking Dave's head.
The boy just nodded with a weak smile.
"You're great, honey. You're strong, next time don't hurt again," said Devan, smiling back at the boy.
Dave nodded again.
