Going as far as her feet could take her, Jade soon found herself on the last staircase leading to the rooftop.
She did not think twice before barging through it with her gun pointed outward.
Standing close to the edge, she caught sight of Zale, searching for a means of escape.
One would have thought him sensible enough to have run through one of the hallways and find the perfect hiding spot but no.
The idiot came running for the rooftop.
This could mean one thing, Jade thought. Perhaps he was hoping for someone to pick him up or something.
Whichever was the case, she was determined to not let him escape and ruin him if she had to.
"Zale Anders!" Jade yelled. He jolted where he stood, turning around to face her as he winced from the sudden pain of using his injured leg.
She was right. The trail of blood to him.
