Young Jae slept like a baby. He never got such a peaceful sleep in his life so far. He didn't even have a dream. For some reason, he felt peaceful. Young Jae didn't remember the last time he woke up with a smile.
Even after waking up, he didn't make a move but lied on the bed lazily. There was no will to make any move.
"Someone looks well-rested" a teasing voice interrupted his lazily lying session.
Without even realising who it would be, Young Jae let out a whinny grunt in the form of acceptance.
There was a hearty chuckle that made him think for a minute.
'Omo! Chin Hae Hyung don't sound like that.'
All of a sudden, the realisation struck Young Jae. It was Wang Min Jun. The voice belongs to his cousin's junior, not his cousin. He was embarrassed.
Looking at the cheeks turning red, Min Jun laughed.
"Don't be embarrassed Hyung. Who doesn't like to lie in bed and laze around in the morning and do nothing? I enjoy doing that too. But my curse would interrupt my lazing around like that by making me have an urge to relieve in the morning." Min Jun said with a hint of teasing and honesty.
Young Jae just smiled at his attempt to lighten up with an embarrassed man.
"What is time?" Min Jun couldn't help but be attracted to Young Jae's sleepy-raspy voice.
'How could his voice sound like afte… God! Stop it! Get the head out of the gutter!'
A small cough was let out by Min Jun before he spoke to Young Jae.
"It is 8:00 am. I didn't wake you up as you were sleeping peacefully. Hyung, you wanna get up or just lay on the bed little more." Min Jun spoke as if his head didn't have any dirty fantasy just a few seconds ago.
"I need to use the washroom actually. Can you please call the nurse?" Chin Hae usually helped Young Jae with it. He was embarrassed to ask Min Jun to do the same. If he had a choice, he wouldn't even ask the nurse.
"I will take you. Chin Hae Hyung already explained to me. I have prepared everything as he asked me to prepare for you. It will be easier." Min Jun spoke without thinking.
When he took a step towards Young Jae only, he realised his mistake.
"Unless you are uncomfortable with me, I will call the nurse. You know her for more time than you know me. Let me know who would be convenient for you." Min Jun spoke slowly, not to scare Young Jae.
"I don't want to call her either… But I… This is... argh... such an inconvenience. Mianhabnida!" Young Jae said only to express his uncomfortableness.
"Relax Hyung. I have done this for Chin Mae Hyung before. So I have experience in helping with the morning routine like a professional." Min Jun reassured.
Young Jae turned his head faster, which made Min Jun wondered if the other got whiplash or something.
"Chin Mae Hyung had experienced an unfortunate event which left him on the wheelchair for a long period of time as we grew up. Even though he had a care-taker, BB took care of him most of the time. When BB was busy, one of us would do. So I had experience beforehand and a guinea pig to practice on. Don't worry. I know how to assist."
Young Jae had a ligament tear in the left ankle, and right ankle had a fracture. Above all, both the knees were injured. And the right arm was in a sling to heal the ligament tear on the shoulder. His limb movements were quite limited. But it has been sometime after the injury, and he does make very light movement when it was indispensable.
The only doctor who encourages him making little movement here and there was Doctor Ro whereas his ortho doctor was completely against the idea.
Moon Chin Hae usually carries him to the washroom with housekeeping staff's help and helps him do the morning routine.
The uncertainty weighed heavily on Young Jae's silence.
"I am not pushy. But be honest with me. Who would you like to take assistance from? Me or the nurse? I know she is qualified and everything but I want to know your comfort in accepting her help. I will ask for her comfort also, and then only this is going to happen. So let me know." Min Jun patiently explained one more time.
"I will take your help. Both of us are guys anyway..." Young Jae's words made Min Jun laugh lightly. The laugh that tickled his heart…
Min Jun informed Young Jae before he carried him to the bathroom.
He settled Young Jae in the washroom and left every basic necessity near his uninjured hand and left the room to give privacy.
Min Jun stood by the door in case of emergency.
After Young Jae finished, he cleaning himself to the best of his ability. Then he called Min Jun.
Young Jae was really embarrassed at this point but realised he was helpless.
Min Jun didn't say a word but helped Young Jae get dressed back in the loose robe and flush it.
He carefully placed Young Jae on the wheelchair and helped him with brushing the teeth.
Young Jae was grateful for the assistance and lack of comment about everything that happened.
When Young Jae was about to spit the toothpaste, drum beat startled Young Jae. He almost swallowed the toothpaste-spit because of the sudden sound.
"I am sorry!" Min Jun hastily pulled his phone to turn it to silent mode again.
Young Jae spits the toothpaste on the basin with the help of Min Jun. Young Jae didn't realise the concerned frown on Min Jun's face because of the bandage binding his eyes.
'Isn't it midnight there? What happened? Is everything okay?' the thousand unexplainable worries raced Min Jun's head.
