Chapter 43 - The Garden Breeze II

Choi Na Ri sat in the garden with the tea. Even though she was agitated last few days trying to find any information on Moon Young Jae, it was like the damned Chin Hae hid him quite well.

The annoyance seeped through her bones at the thought of Chin Hae. She planned everything to ruin that boy's life. She even staged the act of him trying to molest her precious daughter.

For the first time, the father-in-law who always disliked her, sided with her that time. She even incited the possibility of him misbehaving girls in school and made the family discuss his termination from the boarding school. Nothing was important for the Moon family before the pride. So she played her card well and intended to make Young Jae useless.

Somehow he was saved by someone in school. Her further moves became pointless as his mother got his custody. She still did not know why her father-in-law agreed to it. When there was no news about Chin Hae, she concluded that he was no more a threat.

But who knew he would stand in front of the media as a new vice-president of one the lead pharmaceutical industry recently. He was nothing but a potential threat for her son, Moon Chin Hwa, to become an heir.

Then the boy who was supposed to be dead for two decades walked into the mansion as if he owned the place. He even raised hand at her and her beloved son. She might not have given birth to Moon Chin Hwa, but she always cherished him as her son. After all, he had her…

Moon Sana noticed that her mother was still lost in thoughts, and the tea was untouched. "Mom! Are you still worried about Young Jae Oppa?"

"He is not your Oppa. He is a disgrace to our family. How can you even call that thing a brother?" She scolded her daughter.

Moon Sana held her mother's hand. She understood her mother's dilemma and wished to do anything to elevate it. But no one knew where Young Jae was hidden.

"We were confident about Chin Hae before. That's why we did not bother when he went off the radar. Now look, he became a burden and found his dead twin to give us more headache. We need to make sure that we finish Young Jae for good when he is powerless. Or less, he will add to another unnecessary trouble." Choi Na Ri spoke her concern out to her daughter without any worry.

After all, she trusts very few people, and her daughter always had her unconditional trust.

Mother and daughter deviated from the topic, not wanting others to hear them. No one enters this part of the garden these days. Even then she wanted to make sure nothing goes wrong in her plan. She had to make sure her children inherit the Moon family's wealth and live life comfortably at any cost.

Mother and daughter did not even realise that it has been an hour as they were talking. The heat of the sun increased a little, and the tea was cold. They decided to move back inside the mansion to continue their talk.

Moon Chin Hwa entered the garden looking for his 'mother' only to find her having a conversation with his step-sister Sana. Even though there was no smile on his face, but he had an affectionate look when he saw his half-sibling.

He happily walked up to them and did not even realise two other people were entering this part of the garden. One wanted to spend some time having a walk while the other accompanied to help the elder out of filial duty.

"Good news, mom. We got the information about Young Jae." His words stopped not only the intended people, but also the people who just entered that part of the garden. The huge tree was in the way hindering the view, but they could hear everything clearly.

"Finally you were able to get the information from the hospital staff. You never cease to amaze me, Chin Hwa." She looked at him proudly.

The praise made him smile. He had always adored her for treating him like her own irrespective of being a step-mother.

"He is not in a great shape mom. Multiple concussion and internal bleeding made him quite weak." Chin Hwa spoke of everything he heard from one of the doctors who treated Young Jae.

"This is god's retribution for choosing such a sinful life. Hope he finally realises it." Choi Na Ri spoke her words with grace as if her heart was not the den of devils.

"The best part is yet to come, mom. That fag*ot can't walk. His hands and legs are quite useless now. All his limbs are in the cast, and he is bound to a wheelchair. Above all, he lost his eyesight because of his head injury. He is as good as dead." Chin Hwa gloated at the misery of his cousin without even realising the truth.

"Serves him right for falling for another man and disgracing the family. How can a man love another man?" Choi Na Ri voice was filled with disgust, but she was glad to finally get the eyesore's information that always bothered 'her son' and his pathetic state.
