Bai Yunyu opened his eyes slowly. His body was in total pain from top to bottom. Of course, because he could still feel the pain when his body hit the dark pond.
It felt like his body was crushed from behind, and he didn't die instantly, really. He was still conscious for a whole minute and saw how Han Ye Gege looked at him from the third floor as he floated while losing blood continuously.
He knew that his blood must've turned the water in the pond into dark red at that point. He regretted how things ended because he wished that he could be stronger, just a bit stronger to pass through the day, hoping that Han Ye Gege would open his heart, or at least would leave him alone.
But when things had been ruined without a chance or fixing, he knew it was time to leave the world. Whether he died for real or not, it didn't matter. He just wanted to escape the harsh life that destroyed him.
