Liam's POV:
Hannah seemed to be so unhappy. She didn't talk to me after she returned from the mall. She was lying down on the bed staring at the ceiling. I got on the bed and slept next to her.
"Sweetie, are you alright?"
"How can I be alright? My love of life is a jerk who doesn't care about my feelings, and I can't probably go outside anymore till the day I die. And my father, who probably killed my mother, tried to manipulate me."
Oh my! Is she still mad at me? I thought that she would have forgotten about that by now.
I got up from the bed and rested my back against the bed frame. " Hannah, I don't want to confine you like this either. But I don't have a choice here. You are the most wanted target in the underworld now. Sicilians are rooting for you ever since you killed their Queen. Just tell me, if something happens to you, how am I going to live?"
