Noah's POV:
My mother should have been here now. She would have agreed with me that her father is a lunatic. What kind of person tries to kill his grandson? Of course, my grandfather is not a person. He is a devil.
" Are you going to lower the gun or not?" I questioned him.
" Not until you drop the plan! I am not going to let you do this. I have been protecting my territory for these many years, and I can't lose everything that I built with my hard work because of your foolishness."
This man has tormented me so much all my life, and I can't take it anymore. I turned to him and pushed him to the floor. I tried to snatch the gun from his hand, but the old man's grip was firm.
"You insolent brat," he shrieked and pulled the trigger of the revolver. The bullet missed my head barely. Did he almost try to kill me?
