Unlike some people, I am a morning lover only because I can work out in my private gym. Whenever I miss work out, I'm just not myself. I feel irritated and extremely dull throughout the day even if I skip it even for one day.
Ricky told me that I was an exercise addict, but it's fine by me. I get to maintain my body perfectly and it's not like I am a drug addict or something. I need all the endorphins hormone I can get through my work out routine to take me through the day.
As I was doing my headstand push up, I noticed that someone was entering. I thought it was Hannah, but I was surprised to see Cece.
" How could you do this to her?" she asked me.
" I don't know what you are talking about," I replied.
" You are manipulating Hannah. I don't want her to get hurt by you," she said.
I got down from my position and stood up straight facing in her direction. " Why do you think I'm hurting her? If you are talking about the way I go rough with her while we have sex, I can't change it. We both like it that way and I'm pretty sure Hannah wants to get 'hurt' by me. "
" That's not what I'm talking about. Hannah doesn't love you. She is obsessed with you. Have you ever heard about Obsessive Love Disorder? I think she has it and I'm worried about her."
She has a point. Hannah likes me way too much than I actually deserve. I always wonder why such a moral person like her would fall in love with a monster like me. But that doesn't mean that she is crazy.
" Cece, you are just exaggerating everything. She doesn't have that obsessive disorder thing which you just said. Because she is just in love with me " I answered her as I wiped away the dripping sweat from my abs with the towel.
" Okay, Fine. I'm not going to beat around the bush here. I know the real reason why you married Hannah."
I froze. How could she? It was a secret that I didn't even tell anyone in my circle including Ricky.
" How did you come to know about that?"
She took out her phone and gave it to me." Because I got a mail from someone called Rey.."
Screw this Patterson! He is trying to communicate with me for the past two days and I completely ignored him. Now he is contacting Cece? If Hannah comes to know about this then I am doomed. She doesn't know that Patterson is her father and I try to keep it that way.
" Are you going to give me an explanation, Mr. Eaton?"
" Okay, but promise me that you won't rat me out to Hannah. I don't want her to know about this."
" Okay. Tell me what it is," she said.
" The truth is, I never wanted a wife. I married Hannah because I wanted to imprison her. "
She looked puzzled. " Why would you want to imprison her? She is just a normal girl."
" No, she isn't. Her father is Reynolds Patterson. He was the greatest illegal arms trafficker two decades ago. When he got exposed, he wanted his newborn baby and a 3-year-old boy to be safe. So he gave them to two a middle-class Oregon family. He provided them financially to raise the children."
" Wait a second", she interrupted. " You got to be kidding me?"
" Do I look like I am kidding? I am a Drug Lord for God's sake."
She gazed down looking confused. " Okay, let me get this straight. Hannah and Hector were adopted by the Millers. They got money for raising the children. And then why didn't Patterson come back to take them when things got fine?"
" Well, he did come back. Hector was involved with street gangs when he was a teenager, remember? He was working for his birth father at that time. I think he killed his adopted parents because they were trying to stop him from doing his father's dirty work."
" It makes sense now." she blurted out. " Hector is a devil incarnation. He must have known that they were not his actual parents. That's why he must have killed them. "
" Yea, exactly. And Patterson managed to raise again by forming this assassins' league. By that, he started gaining double profit as he manufactured high tech weapons and used them to eliminate the targets provided by his clients. Hector took over the assassins league from his father a couple of years ago.
On the other hand, Hannah came to LA with you."
She studied me for a while." You knew about this and you wanted to imprison Hannah for and make demands with Patterson? "
" I thought that I could drag and lock her up in a room. But I couldn't. When I saw her for the first time, I started to feel guilty for trying to imprison her. She looked so innocent and cute. I just used her innocence against her. I manipulated her into marrying me. Or that is what she thinks."
Cece rolled her eyes at me." Your marriage is not real?"
" No, it's all just a drama set up to lure Patterson. And the plan worked perfectly. He sent assassins to stop the fake wedding, but he failed. Even though Hector tried to act like he didn't care about Hannah, he had to retrieve her from me for his father's sake. That's when I captured him in my penthouse with your help. So far I have used Hannah as a play card to win my battles with my rivals."
" He wants to negotiate with you. What are you going to do about that?" she asked.
" I don't want to lose Hannah," I confessed. " I know that I don't deserve her. She is ready to take a bullet for me while I have imprisoned her in a fake marriage. But still-"
" You realize that she is going to hate you once she gets to know the truth, right?"
I nodded. I didn't want that to happen. I finally got what I wanted. I got Patterson on his knees and he willing to do anything. But now all I want is only her. " Cece, please don't tell Hannah about this. That poor thing lived these many years without knowing all this. If you say her, it will break her."
" Okay, I won't. You should focus on saving your empire at any cost. And Hannah will forgive you. Because if she likes someone, she won't give up on that even if the whole world is against her."
" Are you sure? " I asked.
"Yea. And I still can't believe you are capable of loving someone."
This is just getting better. I don't like to express my feelings to others. " If you have got your answer, then you can leave now. Because I would like to do my next suspension training in peace." I said.
" You work out too much than required. It's good for you to slow down a bit."
" Why do people keep saying this? " I yelled.
" Okay, fine. I'm leaving now," she said and left.
I was intrigued by Cece. The way she cares for her friend is really amazing. Hannah is lucky to have a friend like her. I sat down on the weight bench feeling euphoric despite the confusing thoughts in my head. This is how I feel after a satisfying workout.
" Can I join you? " said a familiar angelic voice.
" I knew you would come here. " I said.
I can still remember the way she stared at me when I was working out. Her eyes were wide filled with lust. She came to me and sat on my lap. I grabbed her waist and gently kissed her forehead.
"Miss me already, baby?" I whispered in her ear.
" Are you done for today? Did I miss everything? " she sighed. I could see the disappointment in her eyes.
" No, I still have the stamina for one more work out. " I said and made her lay down on the weight bench.
She started wincing as I tied her hands together with the TRX band. " You are under arrest for trespassing in my private gym. " I said and removed my boxers.
" I'm sorry officer. I was just lost," she cried. She looked very cute like a trapped puppy.
I like how she makes herself vulnerable in front of me. I feel titillating every time she does that. I didn't want to waste a second with these stupid talks. I pulled up her dress and removed her underwear.
" Let me see how many times I can make you scream my name," I said.
I wrapped my arms around her legs and placed them on my shoulder. " Liam", she hissed as I pulled her towards me and got in her.
I began to thrust faster in her and grinned wickedly as I heard her soft moans. Everything was going fine until I heard that stupid knock on the door.
" Mr. Eaton, I know that no one should enter when you are in the gym but it's an emergency," said Ricky.
" Stay outside," I yelled. I immediately pulled away from her and I put on my boxers. I released Hannah and helped her in wearing her clothes.
" Come in now Ricky. You interrupted an important session and it better be worth it."
Ricky entered the gym looking anxious. " We have got some bad news."
" Did some of my shipments got lost?", I asked.
" No, but-"
" Are there any more spy among us?"
" Not at all.-"
" Then everything is fine. Why did you have to disturb me?" I yelled at him.
" We just got a red signal."
Fuck! That's just great. I am already in enough shit right now. The last thing I needed was new enemies.
" What is a red signal?" asked Hannah from behind me.
I almost forgot that she was still here. " It means an emergency. And sweetie, why don't you go and stay with Cece? I have to run some errands."
" Okay," she said in a sad tone. I understand that she needs to be around me all-time the. But I have this is a time of crisis and she should understand it. She kissed me on the lips and left the gym.
Ricky waited until she left and started to speak. " We got a warning message from Reynolds Patterson that if we don't negotiate with him, he is going to declare war on us. He has given us seven days."
This is just getting better now. I thought that I could procrastinate for a while. Looks like I have very less time now. It's time for me to make a choice between Hannah and saving my empire.
But I want to both. I can't lose Hannah and I am willing to do anything for that.
