Matthew's POV:
" Young man, I am a senior agent, and you are disrespecting me like this," Marcus yelled at me.
I ignored his words entirely. The one who tries to defend himself is mostly the culprit. So it is evident that Agent Marcus is the traitor here.
He was giving me a deadly glare when I searched him. There was nothing in his pockets. I knelt on the floor and checked his socks. But still, I got nothing!
Perhaps he is innocent after all! Marcus smirked at me and said, " I told you so, young man. I am a senior officer, and I have helped the department in solving a lot of cases. Why would I betray the department now?"
" I am sorry, Sir," I replied politely to him. He then turned to his fellow agents and moved closer to them.
" One of you check Agent Matthew and Sophie," he commanded them.
