Being a double agent is very easy than babysitting a drunk Hannah. She already drank ten shots of vodka. She wasn't able to walk properly on the floor. I was bracing her from falling.
" Hannah, please lie down on the couch for a while, Liam will be back soon, " I pleaded with her.
" No, I need him right now! I need my sweetie-pie, Liam. I need him right now, right here," she squealed.
Fuck my life! I so want to tie her up to a chair. But I can't do that. At least she is smaller than me. This way I'm able to drag her to her room.
" You are so drunk, Hannah. Sleep for a while,"
" I don't want to sleep, I want answers. Am I a whore?"
Kill me. Kill me right now! She has been asking me the same question for the past twenty-four hours. I can't keep on answering the same thing over and over again.
" For God's sake, Hannah. Please sleep."
" No, I want more shots!"
I was so glad when Liam showed up. " What is happening here?" he asked.
" Liam, I was waiting for you! " Hannah went running to him. She tried to kiss him but he pulled back and said " How many shots did you take? "
" Only ten. I want four more and I want you! Come on, Eaton. Ravage me!"
" Cece, why did you let her drink?" he yelled at me.
The nerve on him to yell at me. He is the reason for her condition and he blames me? I swallowed my anger and tried to answer as politely as I could. " I tried to stop her, Mr. Eaton. But she didn't listen."
" Why shouldn't I drink? Vodka makes me feel good. And you make me feel good. I don't care if this makes me whore. I need you and vodka forever!"
Liam successfully managed to make her lie down on the bed. "What is wrong with you sweetheart? Why are you calling yourself a whore? "
" Yea, that is what Keith said. He said that he is going to destroy you and make me his whore. "
Liam's cheeks were instantly gleaming red with anger. " Keith fucking MaCadie," he blurted out furiously.
" But Liam, I love you so much, and even if you treat me like a whore I can take it. But I can't be a whore for someone else. Please don't let him take me." She rested her head on his shoulder and started weeping uncontrollably.
" Sweetheart, I'll make sure that no one is going to call you a whore from now on," he said and took out a ring box from his pocket. He got down on one knee and said," Will you like to be called Mrs. Eaton?"
I was completely thunderstruck. Does he want to marry her? Hannah started screaming out of joy. " Yes, I want to be Mrs. Eaton," she wailed.
He put a diamond ring on her finger and he pressed his lips with hers.
I pinched myself again to check if this is real or not. I know for sure that he doesn't love Hannah. I thought he was fooling around with her and using her as a trap to screw with Patterson.
Why does he want to marry her? Is he planning a fake marriage with her again as he did in the past? But Liam doesn't repeat the same trick twice. He believes that tricks are worth only once. Then what the hell is happening here?
" My bestie is engaged! I can't believe it," I faked a huge smile and hugged Hannah. " I'm going to be a bridesmaid," I cried out.

I couldn't stay in the mansion for one more minute. I was getting a migraine from lack of sleep and today's drama. I still don't know what Liam's intentions are.
I went inside the coffee shop and ordered a white chocolate mocha. I took out my phone and called Patterson. He answered immediately. " Mr. Patterson, something happened here?"
" What happened?" he asked.
" Hannah is engaged. Liam proposed to her today!"
" What the fuck are you saying? And you just let her get engaged?"
" What am I supposed to do? How can I stop her from saying yes? She is head over heels to him!"
" Is she pregnant?"
" Pregnant? God, no. She was drinking today. If she was pregnant, she would have not been drinking. "
" Listen, Cece. You have to do something to stop this. Because Liam is planning something big here."
" What?"
" There is something you need to know. Hannah has one billion dollars worth of assets in her name. Liam knows about it. That's why he is planning to marry her. "
I couldn't believe my ears." Are you serious? One billion?"
" Yea."
" Hannah is a billionaire? That makes sense. Maybe that's why he is still with her. I knew that he had an ultimate motive!"
But how can I make Hannah understand this? She is not going to believe me at all.
" You have very little time, Cece. Do everything that you can to delay their marriage. You have to take risks if you want to save Hannah!"
" Okay," I said and hung up.
I sipped my coffee to ease out my migraine. But even that wasn't working out anymore. This Liam just turned out to be even more horrendous.
His drug empire is deteriorating and he needs a fixed deposit now. So Hannah is just a fixed deposit for him. That sick bastard!

I was in Ricky's apartment watching the Lakers game with him. My mind constantly flickered back to Hannah. How am I going to save her from this trap?
" Are you alright?" Ricky asked me.
" Yea, I'm fine! "
" No you don't seem to be fine," he said.
" I was just thinking about being a bridesmaid. It's a big pressure right?"
He smiled a little which made me feel delighted immediately. Because every time he smiles, cute dimples form in his cheeks which makes him thousand times even more handsome.
I pulled him closer to me and kissed him on his cheeks. " You know Cece, I know it's too soon and I'm not looking forward to it right now. But I can imagine us getting married in the future."
" That's so awesome," I said. I had to fight the urge to resist my tears. I have to break his heart again!
