Liam's POV:
I was getting anxious. I have never been this much restless in my life before. It's been more than twenty-four hours, and Hannah hasn't given me an update. The rule is that she provides an update at least once in twenty-four hours.
Is she okay? Did she get caught? What if something terrible happened to her? Probably I am just overthinking this.
Dario got inside my workspace. He looked so troubled. " Mr. Eaton, something bad happened," he declared.
I got up from my seat in horror. " Is it about Hannah?"
He nodded. I slammed my fist on the glass table in anger. The glass shattered, and my fist started bleeding. I deserve this pain. Because it's my fault, I should have never left her there with those vultures.
" Mr. Eaton," Dario came sprinting to me. " Hannah is fine. The news is that Hannah killed your Aunt Laura with a rod."
" What?" I coughed. " She killed Laura!"
