"What's going on?" The woman repeated.
Tim's face turned pale. He turned around and faced his preggy boss.
"You—you, young madam Shen! We—we…"
Tina and Laila heaved a helpless sigh after Tim only stuttered while answering their lady boss.
"Please don't misunderstand, boss. Mr. Shen had some things to deal with." Tina was obliged to explain.
"Young madam, why did you come here?" Tim shut his mouth when Tina elbowed him, and Laila gave him a look, saying, 'Seriously? She is the owner of this company! Our boss!' Ugh.'
On the other hand, Tim is fuming because these two ladies don't understand him! There is no way his male boss will do something unforgivable like cheating! He wanted to explain to the lady boss that she should not misunderstand this situation.
Anyhow, Hailee needs no explanation. She simply walked toward the door of her office and then pressed her ear to listen to what was going on inside.
