Upon hearing this, tears instantly welled up in the corners of Hailee's eyes. If it's true, then how great is that? She doesn't need to grow old alone and stay single her entire life! She also doesn't want anyone else but Vincent. If it's not him, then she'd rather die!
"What is your plan?" she asked afterward. They were now on the bed, snuggling while discussing what to do next.
"I'll look for the shaman."
"I'll go with you!"
"No, Hail, it's dangerous. No one can tell me where exactly the shaman is. He is not staying in the same place, so I must trace his whereabouts." Vincent paused and gazed at Hailee with heartache. "Now, listen to me. It might take a long time before I find him. But I won't stop, even if it takes several years. Can you wait for me, Hail?"
