"I want you to take over my job for a while," Pyro said, and saw his daughter's expression change instantly.
"What do you mean?" Apple seemed to guess the reason, but she wanted to confirm it with her father first.
"I want you to work for Mr. Tordoff for a while until he gets a replacement to me."
"What?" Apple frowned. The expression on her face showed that she couldn't believe what she had just heard. How could her father ask her to work for Jayden Tordoff? "Father isn't seriously suggesting this, is he?"
Apple was still hoping that her dad wasn't actually asking her to work for that shitty man.
Being with Jayden for a few moments was already unpleasant, but now her father was suggesting that she should take care of the man? Seriously… what kind of joke was this?
