Apple could smell the delicious aroma coming from the kitchen, where she found the man cooking breakfast for the two of them.
"Jayden, have you seen my phone?" asked Apple as she walked into the kitchen.
Jayden smiled very cheerfully when he saw Apple's sleepy face as she sat on the bar stool and rested her head on the counter top.
"I kept it. Don't look at your phone for a while." Jayden turned his body and stared at Apple for a while before he answered. He looked a little weird when he said that, like he was annoyed? But why?
"Why?" Jayden wasn't usually like this. Did he see something on her phone? But, it was not usual for Jayden to check Apple's phone either, it was simply not like him.
"I don't want you to read the news that's going around right now." Jayden continued to cook. He got the news this morning and it really pissed him off, and of course, the news was about Apple.
