Hailee was utterly at a loss for words in the face of the hypocritical, double- faced Aileen. A ton of scoldings and insults were struggling inside her head, ready for her to hurl, but at the same time, Hailee knew she couldn't do that.
Because that was the kind of reaction Aileen wanted from her. She wanted Hailee to embarrass herself by acting inappropriate.
Right at that moment, Hailee felt Ramon's hand pulling her closer and the warmth from the body of the man who had been standing beside her, gave a feeling of security and made her relax a little.
