"So, is that a yes?" she asked as she wiped his tears with her thumb pads.
Shui Xian held her hand against his cheek and kissed the palm of her hand as he said, "Is there any doubt? And do I even have a choice here?"
"You don't," she chose to make that clear right then and there. "I was willing to let you go if you felt like we weren't good together. I meant it when I proposed that. Now, the situation has changed. You can only be mine, whether you like it or not."
Shui Xian chuckled at her words, "Baby, are you signifying your sovereignty?"
"Is something wrong with that?" she asked in return.
