"I just do." Regina shrugged, then she grabbed Marlena by the shoulders. "Don't try to distract me. I know what you're doing. Where did you go earlier?"
Marlena didn't want anyone to know she had bumped into Prince Destrian, especially since they ended up riding the same horse and she felt things her body had never felt before. Her cheeks flushed and she bit the inside of them nervously. "I went for a walk. I bumped into a prince and he brought me back."
Regina caught on fast. "Why would there be a prince in Yorucia? Did you bump into Prince Destrian of Itrusia?"
"I don't know." She lied, then instantly changed her mind. There was no point lying to her mother, she always saw right through her. Besides, they only had each other at the castle, and lying was the fastest way to destroy all trust between them. She averted her gaze.
