In the music room, Marlena had tried to play the piano according to Frances's instructions for the nth time but once again, she failed horrendously.
The governess wasn't the only one who was getting impatient. Marlena was frustrated too. Why couldn't she focus for even a moment? It had been the same when she tried to learn about herbs earlier.
Frances would have given up long ago but when she remembered why Marlena was in such a state, she was lenient. "My lady, I think you should take a break." She suggested.
"I am alright." Marlena insisted. "I'll try again."
This time, Frances took away the songbook and closed it. "I think you should spend more time with the mother queen. You are so worried about her that you are unable to focus on anything else. What's the point in spending the whole day learning if you will not remember any of the things you learned?"
