"She will die soon? When and how will that happen?" Felix asked, and as expected, he no longer looked so furious.
Elifur shrugged. "I would never tell you that. You know it's against the rules."
It was true, so Felix did not push any further. "As long as she will not be alive for too long."
Elifur smirked to himself when Felix left the foggy forest to return to the castle. That was a fast one. Although he was not lying when he said Delaney would die soon, humans and deities had very different interpretations of "soon". He knew that Felix was currently being led by his raging emotions and might soon begin to question his words about Delaney's death. So he decided to flee back to the realm of immortals as soon as the chance presented itself.
