"I told you you would regret it." Ylvia spoke.
"I don't. I only hate being played like a fool." She was enraged when she thought about it. Which part of what Elifur said was true? Was everything a lie?
"He knew exactly how to make it seem like he had no control over time. That bastard!" The glass she had just taken from Ylvia was crushing against the wall before she could realize it.
Ylvia didn't freak out seeing the debris even though Delaney rarely lost her temper. She rubbed down her back. "Calm down, my lady. We need to find a solution and anger is not going to help."
"I'm calm." Delaney said sweetly, although her eyes were blazing. Ylvia made a mental note not to let her meet Elifur yet.
"Of course you are calm." She forced a chuckle. "We can't really blame him, can we? He was helping his sister. And now that he isn't, she will face her retribution. We may not even need to do anything."
