"Alena! Take my hand, the machine is going to explode real hard!" Aria jumped out of the water and extended her hand to Alena.
There was no time to explain, and everything had to unfold within a short time frame if it wanted to succeed.
The child reacted fast, and her hand instantly caught on to Aria's. She was tugged into Aria's hug. There were no platform that supported them left, so their falls wouldn't be cushioned by anything.
They were falling back down towards the water, where the machine was supposedly going to explode.
Noticing this, Alena became extremely confused as to why the woman was doing this. Wasn't it going to kill them if they got even closer? Alena already had a bad feeling about the upcoming disaster, and knew that she had to get away as far as possible, but Aria was actually going near it.
