"What is it, big sister? What do you have for me?" Alena backed off, startled by Aria's fervent approach.
"Hehehe," Aria cackled. She didn't know why, but she was expectant of the reaction the girl might have. Just thinking about the bright smile Alena would burst into upon seeing the kitten made her subconsciously thrilled.
"You love cats, don't you?" Aria asked, even though she already knew the answer.
Aria saw a twinkle appear for a split second inside the girl's eyes. Alena proceeded to cough, pretending as if she wasn't excited by the slight mention of those feline creatures.
"Well.. It's not that that I particularly love them or anything.. They just happen to be very popular and I.. That's right, I look at them for research! Research purposes.. So I can find out what common people like and mingle with them if needed. Cats are highly troublesome to take care of..!"
