She controlled the tears and did not let them fall out. Adeline's eyes were filled up to the brain and the tears threatened to fall out any moment which is why she increased the speed and made it to the car. The driver was the same.
"Adeline?" Mr. Korr.
It was Mr. Korr. The driver was not the same.
"Please drive," She demanded from him, practically crying out the words.
He did not move for a second and Adaline was going to break her silence by crying loudly before she felt him move and start the car. She closed her eyes and sniffed as the tears fell out.
She felt grateful for him to do that.
She cried silently to herself in the car. Even though at the back of her mind, she was aware that he could hear everything she cried as silently as she could. She wanted no one else in her misery.
She heaved and she wailed before it was reduced to sobs.
