Adeline felt a pull. It was not physically but somehow seemed to be pulling her towards a certain direction. She found it to be very daunting to how when there was no rope or chain attached to pull her into some direction.
She stood up from the bed placing the book aside and walked to the window to see what it was. There was no one there. She narrowed her eyes on the forest behind the house. How was it that if no one was there she felt a pull?
She took it as a challenge to find out what was happening but mainly it was because she had nothing better to do. Her uncle and aunt were yet to return.
Adelen walked out of her room and then down the stairs before opening the door to the backyard. She stepped out of the house only to step back slightly when she saw it.
