(AFTER the engagement ceremony...)
Zhenyi was leaning against her car in the parking lot. Her eyes were covered with large black sunglasses. Here, she was waiting for Ming Jia. From the distance, she saw Xiuying grimacing while looking at her cellphone.
'My new sister-in-law needs time to absorb that she is indeed engaged to my brother...tsk tsk...I pity her. The pretty flower will wither in Ryuu's evergreen garden if she doesn't play her cards right. You're on your own MING XIU YING.'
A moment later Ming Jia came.
"Zhenyi!" She whisper-shouted.
Zhenyi removed her sunglasses in order to meet her godmother's eyes, but as was removing her sunglasses, her eyes first met with Ming Xiuying who froze in shock and Zhenyi had no idea why and neither did she wished to know. Removing her eyes from Xiuying, she turned to Ming Jia who apparently had sneaked on her husband.
