Chase nodded back at Nairi, who waved at him as she sat down at a table after getting hot and sweaty with her Beta on the dance floor. Kane followed her like a puppy dog and didn't mind following after her obsessively. The well-known stoic and moody Beta was also well known for his puppy-like behaviour towards his mate.
One of his warriors froze on the spot after joking with his friend about their Beta's behaviour with Nairi and didn't realise the pair were walking past once, watching over the training. Everyone looked at Kane expectantly, like he was going to cause havoc at them for not training properly. Instead, he just smiled lovingly at Nairi.
"Well, they're not wrong."
