Today was the day of the dance, all of Beacon's huntresses and hunters gathered for their dance to celebrate the marker in their learning progress. Ruby didn't ask anyone to the dance but went along with Jaune as he had no one to go with either. Weiss was asking Neptune to the dance but was declined so she wasn't in the best of moods Yang invited Blake along to the Dance and surprisingly she accepted. Neptune and Sun managed to be invited to the dance meaning they could find someone to dance with there.
Team RWBY had prepared long before the dance and they had all their dresses ready for them all they needed to do was wait until 7:00 pm before it starts, they also canceled lessons for today which was both a blessing and a curse. RWBY had to find things to do until the time rolled round to the event, after thinking for a while they decided to split up and they would meet up at the dance, Ruby headed to the training area to practice with Crescent Rose. Weiss had decided to do some studying so she wouldn't have to catch up later, so she had the whole room to herself for the day. Yang and Blake both went together to the library to play some games, read, or just talk to try and pass the time.
Ruby after training for quite a while decided to head to the cafeteria and grab a bit to eat, she lined up and waited for her meal. This time her meal was a beef burger with a side of chips and a cream moose-like dessert. Ruby looked around the cafeteria to see if there was anyone to sit with and spotted Phyra sitting all alone and decided to go and talk to her for a while. "Hey Phyra how are you doing?"Ruby spoke with clear energy in her voice, Phyrra replied but sounded a little bit sadder "Yeah, I'm fine how are you? ready for the dance?" after Ruby heard the reply she sighed and spoke, "Has he still not noticed yet... he is so obviously to his surroundings!" Phyrra just chuckles slightly and spoke back to Ruby "How's it going with Weiss? is she your dance partner?" Ruby sounded slightly panicked and stuttered "w-w-what w-who W-Weiss? n-n-no she wouldn't want to go with me." Ruby's voice slowly turned from excited to sadder as she finished her sentence she came back and changed back to her joyful face as if it was a facade Phyra just smiles and spoke to Ruby "looks like we both have oblivious crushes." Ruby slightly chuckled before finally sitting down and beginning to eat, they made some small talk while they ate. Ruby then spoke a bit more seriously"Phyra you should go after Jaune at the dance I'm sure he would say yes he just thinks you too good for him" Ruby then continues eating but when Pyhrra asked the same question to Ruby about Weiss "Yeah I think she is already head over heels for someone else I think I'm just the annoying team captain to her who stole her position" Ruby smiled wearily Phyra fell silent at that because nothing was completely wrong in what she had said. After Ruby's reply, the conversation died quite quickly until Phyra broke the awkward atmosphere "I will ask Jaune if you ask Weiss." Ruby smiled slightly, "sure just be ready to see my rejection." Phyra replied before she could think over what she had just said "She would have to be an idiot to reject a beautiful woman like you" As the words left her mouth Phyra cheeks blushed before quickly standing up "w-well Ruby i-i got to go now s-see you at the dance" Phyra speed walked away slightly embarrassed. Ruby's smile returned while Phyra walked away, Ruby appreciated what Phyrra had said and solidified herself to ask Weiss at the dance.
Time slowly ticked by while the students mingled around while waiting for the appointed time. an hour before the event all the RWBY members had returned to their dorm to change into their dance clothes.
Ruby wore a short, red, sleeveless dress with a thick black sash around the waist and black trim along the bottom. The bodice of the dress is split vertically to the sash and laced with black lacing. The yoke of the dress is transparent mesh with an opaque collar and hem, as well as opaque lines connecting the collar to her shoulders, along with black stockings and pumps. Weiss wore
Weiss wore a short, white, sleeveless dress with cutouts on both sides of her waist. The yoke of the dress is translucent mesh and she also wears white pumps.
Blake wore a short, purple, asymmetrical, halter neck dress that is split up the right side and has a black collar. Translucent black mesh covers her shoulders, decolletage, and back, and decorative black swirls cover the left side of the dress and continue up the left strap. The outfit is completed with black pumps, and she wears a teal bow on her head as opposed to her usual black one.
Yang wore wears a short, white, halter-neck dress with a pale gray hem and white pumps.

Ruby spoke aloud "Let's go meet with Phyrra and the others and get there early.". as Ruby began to leave the room JNPR all left their room at the same time as her almost as if in sync before Ruby's and Phyrra's gaze locked on each other before a slight nod, Finally Weiss, Blake, and Yang stepped out of the room and greeted team JNPR other before pairing up. Weiss and Phyrra were the first pair next were Nora and Ren followed by Yang and Blake then lastly Ruby and Jaune.
They made their way towards the festival, the halls were filled with people in dresses and posh wear as they were heading to the Dance. While the two teams walked down the academy they received a lot of stares and whispers commenting on their looks. after a while, they finally arrived at the dance and entered into the massive hall that could hold hundreds of people, as they entered they were marked off on the register to make sure they knew who was at the dance in case something were to happen. After They had all entered into the Dance they could see
After they had entered both Ruby and Phyrra left towards the side before conforming there plans and agreed to go and ask their current targets but as they began to walk towards the center Ruby smiled wearily before speaking to Phyraa "Go get him Phyrra and have fun at the dance" but before Phyrra could ask anything she looked back and could only see the last few petals fade away into the direction towards the balcony. "Phyrra looked around to try and find what Ruby had seen but became shocked when Weiss was kissing Neptune at the edge of the dancefloor, Phyrra's heart dropped but she thought that she should leave Ruby some time to herself and would come and check on her throughout the dance but she finally got the courage from seeing Rubys crush taken she didn't want the same to happen to her, so she walked right up to Jaune with a confident expression and asked, "would you be my partner for the dance?" Jaune was shocked at what Phyrra had just said but quickly answered "umm ye-yes i-i would love to." Phyrra's uptight expression loosened at his reply and she showed a dazzling smile of joy before pulling Jaune to the dance floor. While she was dancing with Jaune and Ruby saw her she gave her silent congratulations before turning and staring off into the night sky, out of the corner of her eye a black smug moved over by the rooftops to her right and Gazed over towards where she had seen the smudge and saw a black figure jumping on the houses toward the Vale's Trasmiting Tower and decided that she should go and stop them but didn't tell anyone and quickly slipped out of the balcony and grabbed her Sythe from her locker before Getting to the tower as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Phyrra just remembered Ruby by the balcony and couldn't find her anywhere and felt a heavy dread feeling like something bad was about to happen. Phyrra quickly asked Blake, Yang, and Weiss if they had seen Ruby anywhere, but the only reply was from Blake who said "just a minute ago she was at the balcony and hasn't left to the entrance science I would see her so don't worry too much shes probably just at the drink or food table." but Phyrra who had a really bad feeling began to search around the place before she arrived back by the balcony not finding anyone anywhere and was very confused on were ruby could be. Suddenly she heard a loud gunshot from near the Transmit tower that she could just barely hear that sounded like Crescent Rose. Phyrra who's weapon was integrated into her dress jumped off the balcony that Jaune had just arrived at before shouting at Phyrra "what are you doing?" but Phyrra doesn't look back but shouts back "Shots are being fired at the Transmitting Tower tell Ozpin!" and Jaune who heard her instantly began to search for Ozpin and found him on the second floor looking down on the students with a satisfied expression, Jaune quickly ran up to Ozpin and through a very quick sentence told him the situation "Phyrra Phyrra heard shots at the Transmitting Tower" as soon as Ozpin heard Jaune he quickly contacted both Ironwood and Glenda about the situation and they both replied instantly, "I'm on the way with some sentinels to check what's going on ETA 8 minutes" replied Ironwood. "I will make be there in a couple of minutes" came the reply from Glenda. at the same time, Jaune was reporting his situation to Ozpin, Emerald was relaying information to Cinder that Phyrra had notified people of the mission and that she was on her way there and she should be arriving in around 5 minutes.
