Samia held on to the man who looked too eager to see her again. She smiled contentedly, embracing him tighter.
She had missed him.
" How have your days been? I have missed you. Ready to be mine?"
" I missed you to kitten." A playful smile formed on his lip as he took in a heavy breath.
Her giggles filled his ear soothing his heart. Something he wasn't even aware needed soothing.
He pulled away and retrieved the necklace he made. Not waiting to hear her protest, he hung it over her neck and moved away.
From a distance, the necklace glowed in the natural light. Samia looked at the necklace tongue-tied.
" Umm, for me?" She questioned unsure of the answer she should expect.
" Yours. Thank you for the scarf you gave me. I thought I should give something back in return."
He felt awkward explaining himself.
The last time he did that was centuries ago. Aaah. The tension. it was new too. With Amelia, it was too easy.
