Pain!
Excruciating pain, something unlike any she has ever felt.
Blood!
The scent of her blood filled her nose as she tried to block it out to stay sane.
Alas! It was impossible. Her eyes were still tightly shut. Her body felt cold and drained of all energy.
Even if the invincible shackles were freed, she couldn't move. She was imprisoned in her own body.
She wanted to scream. It was a defense mechanism after all yet she was denied that right too.
She wished to cry but her tear glands failed her as well. She could feel it. Her bleeding heart.
The feeling of betrayal was overwhelming her senses more than the pain she felt.
Sadly, it has just begun. The torture of her soul. The inferno was the first phase.
Too hot, it was melting her flesh away. Or so she thought. It was as though her body was there to be burnt to ashes before she would be restored.
