Twenty-one days. That's how long the ritual lasted. No one could get inside the room. However, just as Atif's soul had been watching her, a group of six elders watched as well.
Unlike the prince, they didn't know the pain she had felt nor could they say her naked frame. Even so, they saw her body, wrapped in the red long gown, surrounded by her blood as she lay looking unbothered.
If they didn't know better, they would assume that she was alright. Just like a sleeping beauty but instead of the white gown, she would be in red.
In place of the flowers, she would be lying in a pool of her blood. Quite sadistic if one thought about it in length.
The elders each had stoic expressions on their faces. No one showcased their true feelings. What they had failed to tell the prince about the ritual was that no one managed to survive it before.
