Samira arrived home feeling lost. She had no idea what that whole thing was about.
As she sat outside her temporary home, she recalled vividly the image of the man. No matter how much she tried to shake him off, she couldn't.
It felt as though he was already imprinted in her heart. Why did she feel like that? What was so special about the man that made her want to comfort him?
She had felt it. The waves of sorrow radiating off of him. She wasn't one to feel others emotions like her cousin. Her powers were more inclined on manipulation and hypnosis.
She could swear that she used neither on the man. It was the exact opposite. His emotions pulled her in. Then she felt compelled to sooth his bleeding heart.
How did she know? It was easy. She saw it through his gaze. Something quite bizarre about it was that she never cared for others.
