I helped bring one of the plates to a pretty large table, and as we sat down, one of the girls brought me a glass of water. 

"Is there anything you would like to drink besides water?" Ethel asked. 

"No, I'm quite fine," I responded, and our lovey-dovey lunch began and ended before I even realized it started. 

A few minutes turned to a few hours, and before we realized it, we had talked so much that the sun had begun to set. 

"Ethel! Are you seriously still going on!?" One of Ethel's sisters finally noticed, and those words both snapped us out of our amazing conversation. 

We had a lot in common and some things that didn't quite match up, but Ethel and I were open to trying new things. 

"I should probably get going. I don't want to bother you any longe- EHHHH!" I shouted as a pair of white hands touched my shoulders. 

Ethel immediately got up and shot a glare towards the person behind me.
