In an instant, the very ground upon which the monsters stood seemed to wither and decay. Their valiant charge was met with an overwhelming force of destruction.
The sky darkened as Charna's powers grew even more intense. Beams of inky blackness pierced through the ranks of the monster soldiers, causing their enchanted banners to crumble and their magical insignias to flicker and fade. Harpies fell from the sky, their wings abruptly losing their strength. Centaurs, minotaurs, gnomes, and merfolk were engulfed by the shadow, their forms distorted and then dissipated into nothingness.
