Once Kaori got over the initial, "holy crap, I'm meeting Ash's parents" stage, she felt like she was doing pretty good. The conversations with them flowed a little better and Kaori could feel herself gaining some confidence as they showed that they approved of her.
That said, the look on Ash's face hadn't gone away, even after she'd taken Kaori outside to make out for a while before they went back in.
As the sun went down, both Ayami and Jino got up and walked over to the door. Here, they said their goodbyes for the day.
"O-Oh wait, you're not staying here?"
"Not much they could stay on," Ash replied with a smirk, gesturing vaguely at the area around her.
Well, this is a pretty small place, I guess.
"No, no, we'll be staying at an inn just a couple of streets away," Ayami clarified. "But, we'll drop in tomorrow, before we go. Hopefully, we'll get to see you again. Goodbye!"
