The first day of Kaori being back with the group was a blur. It felt like it had ended as soon as it had begun, and all the blonde did was sit around and look at the unfamiliar world around her. It was both the same and so different at once, that every step she took felt like she was walking through a dream.
As the night came, she wondered if once she fell asleep she was going to wake up and be right back in Onyx, fighting for her life alongside Ash as the strongest Nightmare they'd encountered so far tried to destroy the city. It was currently close to midnight, and Kaori was dressed in a white nightgown, sitting alone in what was her, Keiko, and Ash's room. She stared down at the floor as though hoping some answers would pop up from it, enlightening her on what exactly had her feeling so strange.
