"So, all we have to do is help some soldiers get back to the city?" Ash asked as she finished putting on her armor. She strapped on her boots while Kaori and Keiko stood nearby. The blonde was already in her own golden gear, and Keiko had her father's sword tied to her belt.
"Yeah," Kaori replied.
"Did it say that they got attacked by demons?" Ash turned toward her with a raised brow. "Or, just that they had trouble."
"Just that they had trouble," Kaori shrugged. "Oh, and that they're from Amber."
"Amber..." Ash paused. She and Keiko looked at each other for a moment before Ash's eyes went back to Kaori. "That could be a problem."
"Why?" Kaori tilted her head.
Ash sighed. As she tied her cube to her waist, she said:
"There are a few things we, ehm, kinda didn't mention about our time in Amber."
