Before they went out to train, Kaori decided to put some time into learning some new spells. With those spellbooks she'd gotten, she sequestered herself into her bedroom and sat down, staring down at pages full of scribbles as a bar appeared over her head, pointing out that she'd just gotten started. That said, her progress moved a lot faster than Kaori initially expected it to, as just a few minutes into learning this new spell, the bar was about 10% done.
I guess Quick Learner is just that good, Kaori thought.
As Kaori made herself comfortable on her bed, there was a knock at her door.
"Uh, come in!" She called out.
The door swung open and as Kaori turned her head to glance over at it, she found Ash entering the room.
"Hey," the half-demon greeted her as she moved over to the bed and laid down next to her. "How far are you into it?"
