"I suppose it makes sense," Yumi muttered as she, Ash, and Keiko watched the new Zayama soldiers walk toward the palace. Most of Jade's regular forces took a moment to watch as well, looking on with awe at the graceful figures that moved through the field. "We'll need as much help as we can get."
"Yeah. As long as they do their jobs right, I don't really give a fuck who comes to fight on our side," Ash said, shrugging.
Keiko wished she felt the same way, but at this point, just seeing her grandmother was enough to make the blood beneath her skin simmer with anger.
