That was how long Kaori knew Amber would need to last before Ash could make it. She didn't know how many of those she would need to go through, but she knew that even if Ash somehow defeated the demonic forces at Jade within minutes it would still take at least a few of them before the half-demon could make it to Amber. Knowing this, Kaori mentally prepared herself for a long, grueling battle.
And, even though they had only just gotten started, it was already proving to be complicated.
